Earlier this week, Clay County 911 was notified of two hikers who had become lost while exploring the Big Scaley area near Tate City. Busy Afternoon for Clay County Fire and Rescue

Clay County Fire and Rescue had a busy afternoon today starting with a report of a residential structure fire in the Greasy Creek Rd area of Brasstown. Fire personnel responded to the call for service with multiple apparatus along with Clay County EMS.

Fire at Rib Country Quickly Contained by Emergency Responders

This afternoon, Clay County Fire and Rescue swiftly responded to a report of a possible commercial structure fire at Rib Country, a beloved local restaurant. Around 4:20 p.m., smoke was reported coming from the building, prompting a rapid dispatch of Clay County Fire and Rescue, Clay County EMS, the Clay County Sheriff's Office, and the Clay County Fire Marshal.
