Today marked a memorable and joy-filled afternoon as the Little Middle Event at the Folk School kicked off at 2:15 PM. Members of the Clay County Fire and Rescue (CCFR) were a highlight of the event, bringing their Engine 14 and providing a fun and refreshing spray for the kiddos. And trust us ... they got saturated!

This event is one of the most eagerly anticipated activities for the Fire Department each year. It's not just an opportunity for the firefighters to engage with the community, but also to bring smiles and laughter to the faces of children. "This is one of the most fun things the Fire Department gets an opportunity to do each year! It makes me wish they had something like this going on back when I was a kid," remarked one attendee.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to CCFR for their unwavering support and to the dedicated members who 'worked' this event (if you can call it work!). Their enthusiasm and commitment ensured that everyone had a fantastic time.
