No, you still cannot burn.

The burn ban remains in effect, and at this time we do not have a timeline for when it will be lifted. This decision is made by the State, not at the local level, and we do not have the ability to override it.

If you choose to burn anyway and we have to respond, you can be held financially responsible and may face fines.

We know it’s frustrating—but conditions are still dry enough to pose a significant fire risk.

Please help us keep Clay County safe.
